Dear Dropping Crude oil,
I am one among the bunch of passionate Petroleum graduates from college. After 12th I was clear that coding, electronics were not my cup of tea.

Those Maximum math papers have proved me that my decision isn’t easy to pass through your course. I was unaware that decision was hand in hand with unexpected consequences.

I have met some people in this journey who had same wavelength in loving you. We exchanged ideas, views, books.
Looking to join you we all searched the pores of industrial reservoir ,you were being compact in last 5 years that we couldn’t pass through the entry void spaces.

You started falling down day by day, we still believed in your grace. The class about benchmark crude was like a walk in the park, I never knew that observing you falling would be dead painful.
I tell you, you became nightmare each passing day. Your 2014 steep had made most of the employees to take their migration from industry (primary migration). We understand you have your own reasons. Today’s dropping oil prices are laying path to the rest of employees (is it a secondary migration?) where we all end up in a trap.

You and your industry were so fascinating that we all had a soft spot.We reached mountains to understand you a little more from upstream to downstream. Irony is you aren’t being permeable.

Dear first love, you have broken our hearts throwing the towel on our hopes.Don’t leave a bad taste in our lives.

From
A Miffed Petroleum Engineer.
