Sri Rama Chandra Swamy Temple of Ammapalle is a very old Temple that is well-known for movie shootings. It is located 30 km from Hyderabad and 5 km from Shamshabad Bus Stop. Among the tourist attractions in Hyderabad, this is one of the most popular.

Although the Rama temple was constructed in the 13th century by Vengi kings, the idol predated it by a thousand years.

The main temple is located after the tower, and a wide hallway circles it. Beautifully carved out of a single black rock are the idols of Rama, Sita, and Laxmana, as well as its Makara Thoranam. In the garbhagriha, Anjaneya, who typically travels with Lord Rama, is not there. Instead, the Anjaneya Swamy idol is positioned next to the Dwaja Sthambam with Sri Rama facing it.

A sizable, extremely old temple pond is present. The pilgrims used to find shelter by the pond, which is ringed by porticos. Coconut trees cover much of the area around the pond. On the other side of the temple is a mandapa.
